First-aid training for people working with children is known as pediatric first aid usually something of a gray area in the UK training industry. There is no regulatory body in the way of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) monitors first aid for the workplace, and in contrast to what some believe, is first-aid training for child care does not fall within the remit of the HSE.
