EQ - Emotional Intelligence Quota And Success

We all want to be successful. Many of us set goals in order to large, successful leaders.We are all looking for the steps, strategies and / or formulas that are suited us best. The industry is with the authors, speakers filled, coaches and other professionals of the secrets to success. Not to mention the audio tapes and internet resources available to call. Success in the business world and the world expects that worldwide, a new and different kind of leadership. Leadership that blends knowledge (IQ) withEmotional Intelligence Quota (EQ)

Daniel Goleman is a leader in the area of EQ. I have studied and written research support Goldman EQ concept. I believe in it. I use it in my teaching and coaching. My customer pupils and adults especially my clients in the business world have changed positively, reaching a new level of success through the inclusion of emotional intelligence training into their coaching.

Daniel Goleman states well into the concepthis book "Primal Leadership" Great leaders move us. They ignite our passion and inspire the best in us. If we are to explain why they are so effective, you try, we speak of strategy, vision or powerful ideas. But the reality is much more primitive -: Great leadership works through the emotions. No matter what leaders set out to do - whether it's creating strategy or mobilizing teams to action - their success depends on how they do it.

Even if they get everything just right, if leaders notthis primal task of driving emotions in the right direction, nothing they will do as best they could, or should, work. This is a very powerful but true statement. Research supports the work of Goleman EQ and philosophy.
What is emotional intelligence or EQ?

The concept of EQ includes the following five characteristics and abilities:

1.Self-awareness-knowing recognize your emotions, feelings, if they occur, and the distinction between them

2.Mood management - dealing with feelings asthey are for the current situation and respond appropriately

3.Self-motivation - Summarize your feelings and steer you toward a goal, despite self-doubt, inertia and impulsiveness

4.Empathy-detect feelings of others and tuning into their verbal and nonverbal signals

5.Managing relationships - handling interpersonal interaction, conflict resolution, and negotiations
Why do we need Emotional Intelligence?

Research in brain-based learningsuggests that emotional health is fundamental to effective learning. According to a report of the National Center for Clinical Infant Programs, the most important element for the success of a student in school is an understanding of learning how to "Emotional Intelligence" by Daniel Goleman. The key to this understanding are:

TheseTrains are all aspects of emotional intelligence. Properties that are in personal and professional development of key importance, and always successful. Generally, a student who learns to learn is much more successful. Emotional intelligence is a better predictor of future success than traditional methods like the GPA, IQ tested and standardized test results.

In recent years, the great interest in Emotional Intelligence on the part of companies, universities and schools nationwide. The ideaEmotional Intelligence has the research and development of curricula in these institutions to improve curriculum and incorporate these principles into every day learning for students inspired. I was very much in the work of Goleman's back in 2000.along with the work of Howard Gardner and his theory of interest "Multiple Intelligence" as a tool for delivering success. What I will discuss later in this article.

Building one's Emotional Intelligence is a lifelongEffects. Many parents and educators, alarmed by growing conflict in young schoolchildren - from low self-esteem to early drug and alcohol use to depression, hurry up, the students with the skills to teach for emotional intelligence. There are many leadership training programs in which the strategies and tactics of the leaders, or can learn, "what to do" There are fewer where you can learn "How to be!

Will you be more effective as a leader if you develop good interpersonal skills by developing your EQ?

What is Multiple Intelligence and how does it affect my success?

The theory of multiple intelligences was developed in 1983 by Dr. Howard Gardner, professor of education at Harvard University. It suggests that the traditional notion of intelligence,based on the IQ test is too low by far. Instead, Dr. Gardner proposes eight different intelligences into account a wider range of human potential in children and adults. These intelligences are

o Linguistic intelligence ( "word smart")

o logical-mathematical intelligence ( "number / reasoning smart") Logical

o Spatial intelligence ( "picture smart")

o Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence ( "body smart")

o Musical intelligence ( "music smart")

o InterpersonalIntelligence ( "people smart")

o Intrapersonal intelligence ( "self smart")

o Naturalist intelligence ( "nature smart")

The basic theory is we have all 8 intelligences. That's amazing! Some are stronger than others in us. We learn best through activities focused on our strengths MI. I use the work of Goleman and Gardner in my teaching and in my coaching practice. The results are amazing, and change your life. The success I see in my clients and students is nothing more thanpositive. Combining EQ and MI provides individuals with a sense of "wholeness", which contributes the balance of life and puts them on a path to success personally and professionally.

What does MI have for adults and professional success?

The theory of multiple intelligences also has far-reaching consequences for adult education and development. Many adults find themselves in jobs thatdo not make optimal use of their most developed intelligences (for example, the very bodily-kinesthetic, who put himself into a linguistic or logical desk job when he or she would move a lot happier in a job where she could be such a ) as a leisure officer or physiotherapist. The theory of multiple intelligences gives adults a whole new way to search on their lives, examining potentials that they have left behind in their childhood (such as the love of art or theater)But now the possibility of having, through courses, hobbies, or other programs to develop self-development.
