St Philips Boys Choir/Sal Solo - San Damiano

He began with an obscure band called The News, the only one released on GTO Records, but achieved fame as frontman of pop group Classix Nouveaux. They released three albums with EMI Records, also achieved some notability solo in Italy, as the singer for the group Roketz French, before the world of commercial music. Classix Nouveaux had number one hits in Poland, Portugal, Israel, Iceland and other countries in the early 1980s, one Top 20 and many other Top 50Hits in the United Kingdom, including "Is It a Dream", the # 11 in the UK singles chart reached. She toured in over 30 countries. Solo also sang with Roketz, (who sold one million albums and a half in Italy), for their last three albums after they have abandoned their former Space Rock image.
